Position: Deputy Manager – GIS Expert (NATCAT Data Centre)
Location: Islamabad, Pakistan

Employment Type: Contract (Performance-Based)

📌 About NDRMF

The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) is a government-funded organization working under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017. NDRMF is committed to making Pakistan resilient against disasters by implementing risk management strategies.

🎓 Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Minimum 16 years in Geoinformatics, GIS & Remote Sensing, Data Science, or related field.

• Experience:

  • 06–08 years of professional experience.

  • At least 02–03 years of relevant expertise.

  • Completion of minimum 03 national/international landmark projects of similar nature.

• Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in vector data (shapefiles, GeoJSON) and raster data (satellite imagery, elevation models).

  • Understanding of spatial DBMS (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial).

  • Experience in data transformation, conversion, harmonization.

  • Knowledge of data interoperability standards (OGC standards).
