National Power Parks Management Company (Private) Limited (NPPMCL) is a government-owned power sector organization managing two large RLNG-based Combined Cycle Power Plants (1223 MW & 1230 MW). With assets worth more than PKR 500 billion, NPPMCL ensures cost-effective, reliable, and innovative electricity solutions to the national grid.

We are seeking a visionary, highly qualified, and experienced professional for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead NPPMCL into its next phase of growth and innovation.

🎯 Position Overview

The CEO will be responsible for:
✔️ Strategic leadership aligned with the company’s mission & goals
✔️ Driving innovation and sustainability in power generation
✔️ Effective stakeholder management & regulatory compliance
✔️ Promoting transparency, accountability, and strong governance

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth operations & maintenance of power plants

• Develop & implement business plans aligned with government energy policies

• Liaise with Ministry of Energy, NEPRA, CPPA-G, and stakeholders

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Board of Directors

• Oversee operational expenditures & mitigate financial/legal risks

• Execute effective HR & organizational strategies

• Implement policy directives of government bodies

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate degree from a HEC-recognized institute in one of the following:

  • Business Administration

  • Public Administration

  • Finance / Commerce

  • Economics

  • Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics)

OR

• Be a member of a recognized professional accountancy body

💼 Minimum Experience

• At least 10 years of senior management experience in:

  • Governance, Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or Marketing

  • Well-known organizations with industrial/commercial orientation

• OR Chief Executive / Senior Management level in similar organizations

• OR Head of Department / Governing body member of professional institute

✅ Other Requirements

• Must meet Fit and Proper Criteria (State-Owned Enterprises Act, 2023)

• Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills

• Strategic foresight & regulatory acumen

📃 Terms & Conditions

• Contract Duration: 3 years (extendable based on performance)

• Age Limit: Maximum 58 years at submission date

• Remuneration: Market-based, competitive salary & fringe benefits
