🔹 Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Our client, a leading oil and gas producer in Pakistan, is seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead operations, manage assets, oversee drilling and production, and drive company-wide transformation. The COO will report directly to the MD/CEO.
✅ Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines from a recognized local or foreign university (HEC recognized).
Minimum 25 years of experience in production/drilling operations, project execution, portfolio management, and asset management.
At least 8 years in a senior management role within an E&P (Exploration & Production) company.
📌 Job Responsibilities / Specifications
Lead asset managers to ensure uninterrupted production, sales, and financial targets.
Provide direction on reservoir and well management, field development planning, and adoption of advanced petroleum technologies.
Oversee drilling, completion, and well testing to evaluate hydrocarbon potential.
Develop strategies for efficient development of oil and gas discoveries while managing risks.
Formulate and guide strategic goals, production strategies, and work programs.
Monitor performance, budgets, and safeguard company interests in joint ventures.
Ensure compliance with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
Represent the company in industry, regulatory, and professional forums.
