Job Title: Translator (Darri and Pashto)

Number of post: 1 (one) Job

station: Embassy of Pakistan, Kabul

Duties & Responsibilities:

Translator shall have the ability to listen, read, write and speak in clear and concise grammar and pronunciation and provide translation and interpretative in the required language(s) ie. Pashto, Dani and English

The candidate must also be well conversant with Urdu

Skills and Job position Requirements:

High level of communication, listening, king, and memory retention skill.

Ability to conduct accurate and consecutive translation, transcription, and interpretation from Darri and Pashto into English and vice versa.

Ability to Translate various syntax and expressions to include informal and stung phrases from English Dari Patto and videos.

Ability to conduct consecutive, accurate interpretation of ongoing conversations and activities.

Accurately scan, research and analyses to required language documents.

Ability to function effectively and efficiently during extended periods in challenging environment.

Must be fully conversant with the use of computers and contemporary IT tools specially languages related software applications

Education and Experience:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree (16 year) in English Pashto Dani from a reputable university, preferably from Pakistan.

Diploma in Interpretational skills native languages (Pashto and Dani) would be given additional weightage.

2+ years of interpretation experience in a well-known interpretation company have the experience at the same position at an Embassy or International National organization
