The Punjab University invited applications for various position of Technical & Research fields at Remote Sensing, GIS and Climatic Research Lab (National Center of GIS and Space Applications) RSGCRL.
The services of research and technical staff in following capacity are required within the Remote Sensing, GIS and Climatic Research Lab (RSGCRL), University of the Punjab, Lahore. This National Lab is sponsored by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) to promote and facilitate education, research activities and collaborations to study and develop GIS and Space Applications with particular emphasis on Climate Change studies. Qualified, dynamic, and energetic Pakistani Nationals having research and development aptitude and fulfilling the required qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Vacant Position:
- Research Associate
- Rs.75000 p.m
- Eighteen-year education in Space Science, RS&GIS. Meteorology, Climate Change or relevant field from HEC recognized institution.
- Computer Programmer
- Rs. 75000 p.m
- Eighteen-year education from HEC recognized institution in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field with programming and application development experience in Python/ Java/Andriod. Knowledge of Geospatial Technologies would be an added advantage.
- Application Developer
- Rs. 75000 p.m
- Eighteen-year education from HEC recognized institution in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field with programming and application development experience in Python/ Java/Andriod. Knowledge of Geospatial Technologies would be an added advantage.
- Research Assistant
- Rs. 45000 p.m
- Sixteen-year education in Space Science, RS&GIS, Meteorology, Climate Change or relevant field from HEC recognized institution.
- Computer Operator
- Rs. 40000/ p.m.
- Fourteen-year of education in science. Experience of office management, computer networks, and knowledge of project management is required.
- Lab Technician
- Rs. 40000/ p.m.
- Fourteen-year of education in science. Experience of office management, computer networks, and knowledge of project management is required.
- Lab Incharge
- Rs. 40000/ p.m.
- Fourteen-year of education in science. Experience of office management, computer networks, and knowledge of project management is required.

Terms & Conditions:
