Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for appointment, purely on contract basis, for two years (extendable for 02 years on performance basis) against project posts in PSDP project titled, “Research Development and Technology Transfer of Selected Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) for Import Substitution at PCSIR Labs., Islamabad” on Project Posts Lump-sum (PPS) basis. Project Director Jobs (PPS-09)

Qualification and Experience, Responsibilities

Ph.D. (Microbiology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry or in any other relevant field) with 10 years of relevant experience in projects, preferably in fermentation processes, etc. He/ She will be the lead person responsible for managing the execution of PCSIR component of the project and will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the scope of the project component under the overall guidance of the Chairman.

Experience

At least 15 research papers/ publications/ patents published in reputable journals, magazines are preferred.

Consultant (PPS-09)

Qualification and Experience, Responsibilities

Ph.D. (Industrial Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Fermentation technology or in any other relevant field) with 10 years of relevant experience in science & technology projects. He/ She will be responsible for commercialization of products that will be developed through local R&D and emphasize Government to support knowledge-based economy initiatives and provide support to the private industry conducting research, design and development activities under the overall guidance of the Project Director.

Experience

At least 15 research papers/ publications/ patents published in reputable journals, magazines are preferred.

PhD (Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical sciences, Industrial microbiology, Fermentation technology or in any other relevant field) or MS/MPhil (Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology/ Pharmaceutical Sciences or in any other relevant field).

Experience

2-3 years of relevant research experience.
